Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of meetorchat.com. By using the site you agree to them. We have tried to write them in plain language rather than boilerplate.

1. You must be 18 or older

meetorchat is for adults only. If you are under 18, do not use this site. If we become aware that someone is under 18, we will block their access.

2. You need an account, and you must be 18

Chatting needs a free account. It consists of a username, a verified email address (there is no password — you sign in with a code we email you), whether you are a man or a woman, and your birthdate. You must be 18 or older, and your birthdate is how we check that; your age and gender are shown to the people you are matched with. You are responsible for the truth of what you enter, and an account made with false details may be closed.

3. What is not allowed

While using meetorchat you must not:

• Harass, threaten, stalk or abuse anybody.
• Show sexual content involving minors, or attempt to contact minors. This is reported to law enforcement.
• Broadcast nudity or sexual content to people who have not asked for it.
• Share content that is illegal where you or the other person are.
• Record or redistribute another person's video or messages without their consent.
• Advertise, spam, recruit, or run scams of any kind.
• Automate access, scrape the service, or attempt to overload it.
• Attempt to identify, dox or locate another user.

We may disconnect or block anyone who breaks these rules, without notice and at our discretion.

4. Other people's behaviour

We pair you with strangers. We cannot vet them in advance and we do not pre-screen conversations. You are responsible for what you choose to share, and you should assume that anything you say or show can be recorded by the other person regardless of our rules.

5. Availability

The service is provided as-is and free of charge. We do not promise it will be available, uninterrupted, or free of faults, and we may change or discontinue any part of it at any time.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, meetorchat is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including anything said or done by another user.

7. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top reflects the current version, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
