The quietest way in
Text is a first-class mode here, not the thing you fall back to when the camera fails. It is the least exposing way to talk to a stranger and, for a lot of conversations, simply the best one.
Nothing is requested from your device. No camera, no microphone, no prompts to dismiss. You can use it on a bus, at work, or next to someone sleeping.
It is also the easiest mode to leave. Nobody is mid-sentence on camera when you press Skip.

Are my messages saved?
No. They are relayed between browsers and never written to a database. When a chat ends they are gone, including from our side.
Does it ask for my camera or microphone?
Neither. In text mode nothing on your device is requested at all.
Do I need an account?
Yes, a free one — username, man or woman, birthdate, email. No password; a six-digit code is emailed to you. Age and gender are shown to your match, and the birthdate keeps the site 18+.
Can I switch to voice or video later?
Yes. End the chat and start a new one in whichever mode you prefer — the choice is offered fresh every time.
